Hellingproof is the student cycling association for bicycle racers and mountain bikers. Cyclists of every level are welcome to participate and push their limits.
During the cycling season there are three trainings per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Hellingproof training is for every level. Our trainer provides a training that is challenging for all.
Monday evening: 18:00 - 19:30
The training on Monday evening is organised by Sports Centre the Bongerd and focuses on the technical skills, like cornering. This is therefore a good starting point for new cyclists. However, more experienced riders are also more than welcome! For this training you need sports rights in order to sign up via the website of the Bongerd.
Wednesday evening: 18:00 - 20:00
On Wednesday evening the members training focuses on endurance, and together with different exercises you will be able to discover your limits. For both Monday and Wednesday it is possible to cycle in a group corresponding to your own cycling speed.

Time trial and sprint classifications
For the fanatics we have two classifications: the sprint- and time trial classification. Points can be obtained during sprint exercises on Wednesday rides and during time trials that we organize. The leader (both woman and man) of each classification will wear the leaders jersey and the overall winner will receive a cup. For every training applies: safety first and we leave no one behind. Every Thursday there will be a training were you can discover the ins and outs of the forests around Wageningen. Every training technical rounds will be experienced, so that everyone can cycle at their own pace. Hellingproof has a rental MTB. Email us for info and reservations. No bike? No problem!
Hellingproof has two rental bikes. So do you want to try out cycling, this might be possible! You can join our Monday training and before the training we will provide you instructions regarding the bike and cycling. Besides trainings we also organise activities like diner or drink together, workshops, training weekends, and we race in the student races throughout the country.
